Climbing Shiraz...what a wine!
Picture this; two weary travellers stumble across a hotel in freezing Braidwood NSW, desperate for a winter warmer, then the barman suggests a bottle of Climbing shiraz to share. What a wine, and what great memories. A perfect, richly flavoured wine for the occasion deserving pride of place in our collection. Kylie Williams

The best wine we have tasted...2011 Climbing Pinot Gris
A 2011 Climbing Pinot Gris was part of a mixed selection my husband bought online before Christmas. It was truly the best white we have tasted in a long, long time (and we have been around a while!) We are not pretentious wine drinkers, but simply enjoy wine that we can savour. The artistic, elegant labels enticed me to check out the Cumulus website and order a variety of other Climbing wines! Forgive the sexism - but I also love the fact that a woman - Debbie Lauritz - is behind the label.

2011 Rolling Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
For Christmas 2011 we were given a bottle of the Rolling 2011 Sauv Blanc Semillion. I decided to open it over a nice dinner with my husband tonight. We couldn''t believe the smooth crisp taste of this wine. Exactly what the label says... I had to look up your website to find out where to buy it and couldn''t believe how easy your website is. Just type in your postcode and the website gave me 4 locations within 5 mins of home as to where I can buy your wines. Even more impressed, thank you!

"As mothers-in-arms, my two friends and I took leave of our broods...
and ventured out for Vietnamese delight at South Bank Brisbane. I craved a light bubbly for my great dinner escape and the Rolling 2010 Pinot Grigio Chardonnay was my only by-the-glass choice. Aside from girly delight when I was presented with the retro-cute 200ml bicycle-art bottle, the Sparkly itself was magnificent. Light, crisp and utterly drinkable, it set the papaya salad off to to a "T" for "Terrific". I''ll search high and low now to get my hands on a sparkling Rolling six-pack in the hope that my next mother's do is a BYO affair!"

"I really want to give my compliments to Debbie Lauritz...
She must be an excellent winemaker. For the first time in my life I drank a wine from the Central Ranges. I didn't even know that there is a grape growing area in this district! I really enjoyed the 2008 Rolling Sauvignon Blanc Semillion we had today together with our lovely Dutch mussels. An excellent wine. We often have been to Australia and we have learned to appreciate Australian wines more and more. Luckily we can buy them here easily. Next time we come to Australia we might visit your wine estate. Best regards, Marijke Buijs"

"I just tried your Rolling Moscato and it was absolutely delicious!...
After trying for years to find my perfect wine I think I have found it at last. I love the flavours and the bubbles and being low in alcohol is great. Thankyou.... you have definitely found a happy and future customer who will be buying your wine only from now on."

"My wife has tried a lot of different wines and she still comes back to...
Rolling Chardonnay. Gail will only drink this wine now as she said that it is the best. Thank you for such a great product."

"Climbing Merlot - vibrant yet smooth, velvety yet filled with...
rich berry fruits. My favourite accompaniment to long balmy summer evenings on holiday."

"Recently I was given a bottle of your 2007 Cabernet Merlot...
At the time of opening this bottle I knew nothing about your wines; at the time of opening (Boxing Day) my father-in-law asked where did I get ""Rolling Cab Merlot from"- I said it was a Xmas gift. Well, my father-in-law & his brother sampled a bottle when visiting family in Canowindra and said it was one of the ''best'' he has ever sampled. In the end, your 2007 Cab Merlot from my personal view was the ''best'' Cab Merlot that I have ever tasted. It completed our lunch so beautifully it left that lingering taste in your mouth that you wanted more. It was that good! Keep up the great work!"

"We had a bottle of Rolling Cabernet Merlot 2008 with roast lamb
...shoulder and found it highly enjoyable. Rich fruit flavour with an ever so slight sweet edge and delicious, fullish mouth feel. Mmm, I thought it so ''succulent'' that I jumped on my pushie - in keeping with the Rolling label - and pedalled furiously up to the local bottle-o before they shut to grab another bottle!!"

"We are not usually Shiraz drinkers...
as we prefer Cabernet Sauvignon but after tasting the Rolling and Climbing Shiraz varieties we have started drinking Shiraz at times. We have also tried the Cab Sav varieties and these are also very good."

"The Rolling Shiraz 2007 I won in a competition came as a...
delightful surprise - soft yet rich with a wealth of flavours. What a great wine. So I went out and bought more. And I also tried a bottle of the Rolling 2009 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon - bliss! Great nose, body and not in the least thin or feeble. Finally a modestly priced Australian white I prefer to the Kiwi equivalents!"

"We drank a bottle of the 2009 Climbing Pinot Gris...
on a Barrier Reef island on our last holiday, on our 7th wedding anniversary dinner. After drinking Sav Blanc for the previous three nights, we were desperate for something different. The Pinot Gris was just what we needed, with a really full flavour that's an ideal match with just sitting around talking. It had a kind of honey fragrance and a hint of oranges that took me right back to half time in my school netball games. We chose the seafood, which went with the Pinot Gris very nicely. Wish we could do it again soon!"

"We really felt like something cheery and a bit different...
for breakfast with some friends late on a Sunday morning. The Moscato was perfect, a pleasant sweetness that went really well with the food - pancakes and maple syrup, muffins, figs and proscuitto. Bubbly but not too bubbly, just a nice tickle on the tongue, and not too heavy which was ideal as we had stuff on in the afternoon and didn't want that sleepy feeling you get after a few drinks early on! The colour's nice, too, a soft pink like watermelon juice. Everyone thought it was a really interesting alternative to having champagne at breakfast."
